Aden, NewsYemen:

A Greek company has denied that the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia has confiscated or detained one of its tankers off Yemen, the specialized "Tradewinds" website reported on Monday.

The Houthi militia had claimed that the Saudi-led Arab coalition prevented 47,000 tons of oil derivatives on the Fos Power ship from entering the port of Hodeidah, which is under the militia's control.

The ship is operated by Aerio Shipmanagement of Greece, and the data showed that the ship was anchored on Sunday in the Red Sea, and had left Djibouti on September 19, but no port was listed as the ship's destination.

The Greek company said: “The ship is operating normally and by default carries only petroleum products.  There was no arrest/detention/detention of any kind.”
