Sana'a, NewsYemen:

The Human Rights Information and Rehabilitation Center and My Rights to Support Rights and Freedoms called on the international and regional expert team to investigate the crimes and racist violations committed by the Houthi coup militia against civilians, the latest of which was the killing of the nine Tuhami in a public place.

The Houthi militia arrested ten Tohamans in connection with the killing of Saleh Al-Samad, one of whom died under torture, while last September it publicly killed the others in Sana’a, including the child Abdulaziz Al-Aswad, who appeared unable to stand as a result of his spine and other organs being severely injured as a result of torture.

Hani Al-Aswadi, head of the Haqqi Center, explained that the militia severely tortured Al-Tuhami before executing them, which resulted in the death of one of them under torture and the paralysis of a minor during a closed mock trial marred by serious violations of fair trial rules.

He stressed, in the statement of non-governmental organizations in the 48th session of the Human Rights Council, deposited in the ninth item related to racism, that these executions constitute racial discrimination against individuals belonging to the Tihama area, a large part of which the militia controls.

Al-Aswadi touched on the violations committed by the militia in recent years against Bahais and Jews, pointing out that the Iranian-backed militia has changed many school curricula, by erasing the values of equality, and perpetuating racist ideas based on ethnic preference for the families of Houthi leadership circles.
