Al-Maliki: Hostile projectile hits five civilians south of Jizan

he official spokesman for the coalition forces, Brigadier Turki Al-Maliki, confirmed that five civilians were injured, as a "hostile projectile" fell on King Abdullah Airport in Jizan, southwest of Saudi Arabia, on Friday evening.

Al-Maliki indicated that "the five (5) injuries were minor injuries among civilians, passengers and airport workers - until the publication of this statement - and that the incident was being followed up by the competent authorities."

It was a Houthi drone used in the attack on King Abdullah Airport.

The coalition described the attack as "futile attempts to target civilians at civilian airports, and the sources of the attack will be dealt with."
