Marib, Newsyemen, Exclusive:

On Saturday, the Houthi militia, the Iranian arm in Yemen, took control of new sites in the Juba district, south of Ma'rib Governorate (east of the country), after taking control of a strategic mountain range in the same district and the "Al-Hashinah" and "26" camps.

Tribal sources told NewsYemen that the Houthi militia is advancing to the Juba district from the northern and southern axes, noting that it incurred dozens of dead and wounded in violent battles, with government forces and local tribesmen.

Meanwhile, a military source described the field situation in Marib as difficult and dangerous, especially after the Houthi militia advanced to large areas in the Juba district.

Meanwhile, violent battles are taking place between the two sides, in the Abdiya district, which has been besieged by the militia for 18 days.

According to tribal sources, the failure of the Abdiya area and Jabal Murad to fall depends on the Houthis' lack of control over the Juba area.

Meanwhile, the Houthi militia launched an attack with two ballistic missiles, today, Saturday, on a residential area in the same district.

Local sources said that the two missiles landed in the populated village of Al-Jadida, a week after a similar Houthi shelling targeted the same district with a ballistic missile that fell in the residential area of Al-Yara.
