4 people were killed in a terrorist car bombing targeting the governor of Aden

Four people were killed, and others were injured, in a terrorist detonation of a car bomb, which targeted the convoy of the governor of Aden, Ahmed Hamed Lamlas, on Sunday afternoon.
A security source said that the car was parked after it was booby-trapped, near a kindergarten in the Al-Tawahi neighborhood, to be detonated remotely, when the convoy of Governor Lamlas passed.
The source added that the governor of Aden and the Minister of Agriculture and Irrigation Salem al-Socotra survived the assassination attempt, while four members of Lamlas's security staff were killed, including his nephew.
