Shabwa, NewsYemen:

The Houthi militia, the Iranian arm in Yemen, has begun to change the cultural and religious identity of three districts in Shabwa Governorate, in the southeast of the country, after only three weeks of controlling them without a fight.

A video clip, obtained by NewsYemen, shows the Houthi militia practicing sectarian rituals and spreading sectarian slogans alien to Yemeni society in the cities of Bayhan, west of Shabwa.

Earlier, local sources told NewsYemen that the Houthi militia had started extensive preparations to celebrate the "birthday of the Prophet" in the districts of Ain, Usaylan and Al-Ulaya, and also provided electricity stations with quantities of fuel for the same purpose.

The Houthi militia has turned the Prophet’s birthday into a seasonal occasion, using it to devote its sectarian ideas in its areas of influence, as well as to mobilize combat and collect financial royalties on citizens.

The Houthis are racing against time to "sectify" Baihan, while the local authority and military units loyal to the Muslim Brotherhood in Shabwa governorate are committed to the role of spectator, which reinforces their complicity in handing over the region.

They also exert great pressure on the parents, in the three districts, to return their children to schools, which are used by Iran's arm in Yemen to brainwash students and perpetuate its sectarian ideas.

The militia had forced the schools of the Bihan districts to reopen their doors, after suspending the educational process, but the students boycotted them, and an unlimited number of classes attended and left after the morning queues.

Earlier, the Houthis gathered a large number of clerics, leaders and dignitaries of the Baihan tribes, and transported them to Sana'a to hold meetings with the group's leadership there.
