The Brotherhood resorted to closing the line between Bayhan and Ataq

Shabwa, NewsYemen, private:

The Brotherhood authorities closed the asphalt road linking the Ataq and Bayhan districts in Shabwa Governorate (southeast of Yemen), after the latter handed it over to the Houthi militia without a fight.

Local sources told NewsYemen that Brotherhood forces set up barriers on the road leading to the center of Shabwa governorate, and prevented cars and vehicles from passing through, despite the absence of any armed confrontations.

 It pointed out that thousands of residents of the western districts of the governorate are under siege, as Brotherhood forces do not allow sick and humanitarian cases to reach Ataq.
