The joint forces reach strategic mountains west of Taiz

 On Monday, the joint forces took control of large areas and strategic mountain ranges, north of the Maqbana district, west of Taiz governorate, after fierce battles against the Houthi militia, the Iranian arm in Yemen.

Field sources said that the joint forces liberated areas in the village of Al-Barasha in the Maqbna district, and purified important mountain ranges and ruling sites, after violent battles waged against the Houthi militia with various types of weapons.

In the battles, the Houthi militia suffered heavy losses in lives and equipment, amid great collapses in its ranks, and the rest of them fled, leaving behind mechanisms that the joint forces seized.

The joint forces began opening roads and clearing the area of mines and explosive devices, which were heavily planted by the Houthi militia.
