Air strikes kill dozens of Houthis in Marib and Al-Bayda

The Arab coalition, led by Saudi Arabia, announced in Yemen, on Tuesday, that it had carried out 17 attacks against the Houthi militia in the Marib and Al-Bayda governorates during the past 24 hours.

The coalition confirmed that the targeting destroyed 12 Houthi military vehicles and inflicted casualties of more than 110 militia members.

And at dawn on Tuesday, the coalition had announced that it had carried out air strikes targeting secret ballistic missile sites in Sanaa, confirming the destruction of a large target for ballistic missiles in Dhahban neighborhood.

A circulating clip showed the explosions that followed the coalition strikes on Houthi ballistic missile storage sites in Sana'a.

The coalition revealed that the officials of the secret sites of the Houthi militia in Sanaa took hospitals, organizations and civilians as human shields, explaining that preventive measures were taken to spare civilians and civilian objects from collateral damage.

The coalition had announced the start of air strikes on legitimate military targets in Sana'a, asking civilians not to gather or approach the targeted sites.

He stressed that the operation is in line with international humanitarian law and the principle of legitimate defence.
