Aden, NewsYemen, Exclusive:

Interim President Abd Rabbo Mansour Hadi announced his support for the Brotherhood's governor of Shabwa, Muhammad bin Adiyo, in the face of popular demands for his dismissal against the background of the fall of the Bayhan districts in the hands of the Houthi militia without a fight.

Hadi’s announcement of his support for Bin Adyio came through a phone call he made, yesterday evening, in which he praised “the efforts of the local authority in Shabwa governorate and its distinguished role,” according to what was published by the official “Saba” agency.

Hadi’s position coincides with the movements of the governor’s sons to escalate in the coming days through a peaceful sit-in in the governorate’s capital, Ataq, with the aim of putting pressure to implement the demands of the public meeting he held in the Al-Wata area in the Nisab district in the middle of this month.

The meeting’s demands, which were led by the dismissal of the Brotherhood’s governorate authority, said the prominent tribal sheikh, Awad Al-Wazir Al-Awlaki, said that President Hadi had shown understanding for it, which contradicts Hadi’s call and his praise of Bin Adiyo.

Referring to the man's recent decision to appoint Brotherhood journalist Rageh Badi as ambassador to Qatar, where only a few minutes separated the news of the decision and the swearing in of the constitutional oath in Saba Agency, which reflects the Brotherhood's influence over the decision within legitimacy.

The decision to appoint a journalist to the post of ambassador reminded the extent of the tampering with the decisions issued by Hadi since the beginning of the war, in response to the wishes of the Brotherhood at the expense of state institutions.
