Aden, NewsYemen:

The United Nations Children's Fund (UNICEF) said that 8.1 million children are in need of emergency education assistance due to the conflict in Yemen.

It stressed that this number is a "huge increase" compared to 1.1 million children before the war, calling for an end to the war "so that children can live their childhood," it said.

It is noteworthy that the world war made more than two million children lose their education opportunities, while thousands of others were killed and the Houthi militia forcibly recruited more than 35,000 children, in addition to hundreds of thousands of others suffering from severe malnutrition.
