The Undersecretary of Marib Governorate appreciates the UAE's efforts in Yemen

Abdullah Ahmed Atiq Al-Bakri, Undersecretary of Marib Governorate, said that the Martyr’s Day in the United Arab Emirates, which falls on November 30 of each year, is “a great day in which the values of sacrifice and redemption are elevated, and it is considered a symbol of the courage and heroism in which the heroic people of the Emirates sacrificed their souls and pure blood.  

The sons of Zayed, including soldiers, civilians and diplomats, are the finest examples of national loyalty and duty.

Al Bakri added that the greatness and symbolism of this day is that it comes with the UAE's celebrations of the great union holidays, Al Bayan newspaper reported.

 The Undersecretary of Marib Governorate extended many thanks and gratitude to the UAE, dear to the heart of every honest Arab free man, for its genuine Arab efforts and for its support of the Arab coalition led by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in order to support legitimacy in Yemen, restore the state and its institutions, and defeat the Houthi coup.

Al Bakri referred to the leading role of the United Arab Emirates in supporting the Yemeni people in confronting the Houthi rebellion and the liberation of many Yemeni governorates such as Aden, Marib, Lahj, Abyan, Shabwa, Al Jawf and some areas of Sanaa, Taiz, Al Hodeidah and the western coast.  

This is thanks to the valor, courage and sacrifices of soldiers and air hawks in the Emirates of Charity who wrote the most wonderful heroic epics until the liberation of those provinces and regions.

He added that Martyr's Day is a day of pride for every Arab and is considered an embodiment of Arab cohesion and a wonderful model of cohesion between the leadership of the state and the people in promoting the values of loyalty and cohesion, praising the developmental achievements and the great progress that has been achieved in a short period.

The Undersecretary of Ma'rib noted that the qualitative leap and development witnessed by the UAE in various service, scientific and infrastructure fields and the leading and pioneering role in international forums, all of this was achieved thanks to the wisdom of the late founder Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan, may his soul rest in peace, and after him His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the State, may God protect him, and His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces, and their brothers, Their Highnesses, the rulers of the Emirates, who have their fingerprints in the progress and development of the wheel of sustainable development in the Emirates.
