The US State Department confirmed that the Houthi militia, the Iranian arm in Yemen, is the obstacle to finding a solution to the Yemeni crisis through diplomatic means.

The US State Department said, in a statement, Monday evening, that the continued attacks of the Houthi group on Marib and Saudi Arabia, as they continue to target civilians, show that they are the obstacle to finding a solution through diplomatic means.

The United States is seeking to end the crisis in Yemen by working with partners in Saudi Arabia, the Yemeni government, and the United Nations
