Sana'a, NewsYemen:

The Houthi militia - the Iranian arm in Yemen - confirmed that it had launched ballistic missiles and 25 Iranian-made drones towards the territory of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

In the words of the leader in its ranks, Yahya Saree, the group vowed in a statement, on Tuesday 7 December 2021 , to launch additional large-scale terrorist attacks on areas in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

The Houthi militia claimed that it targeted the building of the Saudi Ministry of Defense, King Khalid Airport, Aramco in Jeddah, and sites it described as "sensitive and important" in the regions of Abha, Jizan and Najran, with a large number of ballistic missiles.

Earlier, the Arab coalition announced the interception and destruction of two ballistic missiles launched by the Houthi militia towards Saudi Arabia, and the coalition announced the destruction of a ballistic missile launched by the Houthi militia towards Riyadh.

The Houthi escalation coincides with the collapse of the group's fronts in Marib, and the depletion of its fighters in most of the fronts over the past weeks. During the past 48 hours, 40 members of the Houthi militia were killed in separate confrontations with the army and the National Resistance and focused raids by the Arab coalition aircraft.
