Taiz, NewsYemen, Exclusive:

Local sources revealed that the homes of citizens in the Samea district were raided by a military campaign led by the son of Brotherhood leader Zia al-Haq al-Ahdal, who was assassinated last October in the city of Taiz.

The sources said that 6 military crews, led by the so-called Muhammad Zia al-Haq al-Ahdal, raided the homes of citizens in the village of Shuraih in the district, in search of the suspects in the case of his father's assassination.

It added that the military campaign raided the homes of citizens in the Al-Sira area in the village of Shuraih, and searched and tampered with them without any orders from the prosecution, the judiciary or the security authorities, including the house of Judge Aref Abdul Rahman Abdul-Haq, the legitimate secretary of the area and detained by the security authorities in Taiz pending the case.

The sources confirmed that the campaign elements led by Al-Ahdal tampered with the contents of the house and looted papers, records and insights, and burned a house in the area, amid a threat by Al-Ahdal to the citizens to kill them and burn their homes.

It pointed out that the campaign, which provoked terror and fear among the citizens, left the area after kidnapping three of her sons and transporting them to the city of Taiz without giving any reasons for that.

The prominent Brotherhood leader, Zia al-Haq al-Ahdal, was assassinated in the city of Taiz on the 23rd of last October, by armed bullets. The security services announced the next day that they had identified his identity and had arrested the motorcyclist who had fled on board, accused of the crime, and arrested 3 other suspects of their involvement in the crime.

Brotherhood activists circulated, at the time, photos that they said were of the accused, while the security department did not disclose his identity and only said that it was "continuing in its procedures, tracking down the perpetrator and monitoring his movements to be arrested and referred to the competent authority", about two months later without any new developments.
