Hays, NewsYemen, Exclusive:

The Houthi militia has displaced hundreds of families from their villages located to the west of Taiz, and the lines of contact between the districts of Jabal Ras and Al-Jarrahi, and forced the people to abandon them, in order for the militias to be stationed there.

The displaced families flocked to the center of the district of Hays, and the newly liberated villages of its countryside, located in the south of Al-Hodeidah Governorate, in western Yemen.

Humanitarian organizations revealed to NewsYemen that 1,500 displaced families have been registered since late November until the end of December.

Hundreds of displaced families live in the open in Hays and its liberated villages, inside open houses that do not protect them from the heat of the sun or the nature of the place, as most families, consisting of 4 to 20 families, live together in one house, and this situation exacerbates their suffering and the suffering of their children, who become vulnerable  Because of the wind and cold winter, and they lack the most basic necessities of life.

The majority of families who live in abandoned houses and in the yards are threatened with expulsion from these places, and the displaced live in tragic conditions as a result of threats and the lack of shelter, food and protection.

Government agencies and international humanitarian organizations are still ignoring their suffering, failing to provide for their needs, and living in difficult humanitarian conditions.
