Mukalla, NewsYemen:

The head of the Escalation Committee in Hadhramaut Governorate, Sheikh Hassan Saeed Al-Jabri, confirmed on Saturday that the popular points established by the committee continue to escalate, until all demands are implemented.

Over the course of three days, the Escalation Committee held continuous meetings with the local authority, represented by the Governor of Hadhramaut, Major General Faraj Salmin al-Bahsani, at an official invitation received by the Escalation Committee from an office.

Al-Jabri said: No pressure was put on us because we are free and have legitimate demands, and the meeting resulted in a number of points that we reviewed from the official media, and they must be implemented by the Escalation Committee, to clarify the full picture.

And preach that the first two points of our agreement with the local authority have been achieved, and Petromasila diesel will be sold to citizens at a price of 4100 riyals per tank of 20 liters, starting from today, Saturday or tomorrow, Sunday, and an official notification will be issued by the authority, and as a good faith we have shown the points that Petromasila locomotives will be allowed to go to the coast only, as well as the agreement not to collect any illegal amounts in the balances.

Al-Jabri stressed that the oil locomotives and foodstuffs will not be released in Wadi Hadramawt, until the Valley Authority announces its readiness to implement the agreement, similar to the coast of Hadramawt, and Governor Al-Bahsani will commit to addressing a letter to the Valley and Desert Undersecretary, Issam Habrish Al-Kathiri, and Timis to circulate the agreement, noting that the legitimate government does not want pressure points.  It is necessary, and we have what makes the government subject to us, by stopping the oil ship coming to the port of Dabba, until our demands are fully met without any decrease. We are not thieves or bandits, but rather owners of legitimate demands.

Al-Jabri added, We demanded that Petromasila increase production to 2 million to meet all needs, and that among the outcomes of the meeting was sitting with the leadership of Petromasila, because there is a complete file that must be implemented by them represented in health, Hadrami employment, services and many other files.

He stressed that any drop of diesel that comes out of Petromasila outside Hadhramaut will be stopped, and the relevant authorities will be sitting with the relevant authorities to set up a refinery in Hadramout.
