Sana'a, NewsYemen:

Violent explosions shook, on the night of Saturday, December 25, throughout Sanaa, in new raids by the fighters of the Arab coalition led by Saudi Arabia on military sites of the Houthi militia - the Iranian arm in Yemen.

A series of raids by coalition fighters targeted the presidential honor camp and the Air Defense College in the Maain district, west of Sanaa.

The coalition said, in a brief statement, that it directed precise air strikes on legitimate military targets in Sanaa in response to the threat of the terrorist Houthi militia, and asked civilians not to congregate or approach the protocol camp in Sanaa.

The Arab coalition had announced earlier a "large-scale" military operation in Yemen, after two people were killed and seven wounded in a Houthi attack on the south of the kingdom, on Friday evening.
