The United Alliance of the People of Shabwa welcomed the appointment of Sheikh Awad Muhammad bin Al-Wazir as governor of Shabwa Governorate, stressing that this step is the first step on the road to ending the partisanship of power in Shabwa Governorate, which has suffered from this partisan approach during the last period in the management of power.
The coalition said, in a statement, "While we welcome the appointment of the new governor of our valiant province and we pray to God to appoint him and guide him in his duties, we affirm that the unified coalition of the sons of Shabwa will support and assist him on the path to completing the end of power partisanship in the province through the restructuring of the military and security institutions that It affected the partisan approach of power during the past approach in managing power in the governorate leadership."
The statement added, "We call on all the people of Shabwa governorate to gather together and stand by the new governor to restore the Shabwani decision, benefit from the wealth and the tribal and social presence of Sheikh / Awad, and preserve the authentic Shabwani social fabric."
