Violent battles resumed between government forces on the one hand and the Houthi militia, the Iranian arm in Yemen, on the other hand, on the various fronts in Marib.

Field sources told NewsYemen that fierce battles erupted at dawn today, Wednesday, on the southern front, centered in the eastern Balk with its sandy and mountainous axes.

The al-Aarif front, to the east of al-Juba district, witnessed violent battles, in which dead and wounded on both sides were reported.

Government forces targeted a militia vehicle in the Serwah front, west of Ma'rib Governorate.

A military source said that the army artillery managed to destroy the vehicle and kill all the Houthi elements that were in it.

The sources also indicated that government forces had shot down a Houthi drone on the same front.

Battles also erupted in Wadi Dhanna, Rawdat Jahm, Al-Kasara, and Al-Mashjah, west of the governorate.

On the northwestern front of Marib, fierce battles continued there, following an artillery attack by the National Army, targeting gatherings of the Houthi militia.

According to military sources, the bombing targeted military vehicles in the Mas district and a gathering of the militia in Wadi Halhlan, which resulted in the burning of two groups of those on them and the failure of an attack by the militia that was preparing for it on that front.

The coalition warplanes launched a number of raids targeting Houthi reinforcements in the southern and northwestern fronts, resulting in heavy casualties among the Houthis.
