Aden, NewsYemen:

Senior leaders of the Islah Party, the local branch of the Muslim Brotherhood, held a meeting with leaders of the Houthi group, the Iranian arm in Yemen, in conjunction with arrangements led by the Arab coalition to correct the course of the battle against the Houthi militia.

The meeting, which was held in Sanaa, included leaders of the Islah party, Fathi al-Azab and Ali Jabari, with leaders of the Houthi militia, Ali al-Qahoum and Sabri al-Darwani, as well as the Minister of Higher Education in the Houthi government, Hussein Hazeb, and a leader in the Union of Popular Forces, Muhammad al-Nuaimi.

The meeting came to confirm the information and reports that were raised about coordination between the two groups, after years of the Islah party denying any relationship with the Houthis, despite the many evidence and many field facts.

Followers of the Brotherhood-Houthi meeting in Sanaa promised a new attempt by the Brotherhood in Yemen to blackmail the Arab coalition led by Saudi Arabia, especially after the recent moves to complete the implementation of the Riyadh Agreement and liberate the Bayhan districts of Shabwa, which the Brotherhood forces handed over to the Houthis, without a fight, last September.
