Aden, NewsYemen, Exclusive:

The combat operations waged by the forces of the Southern Giants Brigades in Shabwa governorate for days have pushed the Iranian-backed Houthi militia to collapse on the fronts west of Shabwa, southern Marib and northern Al-Jawf.

Field sources in Shabwa stated that the forces of the Giants Brigades imposed their control over the most important intersections of the roads linking the governorates of Shabwa, Marib and Al-Jawf during the past few hours, after taking control of large geographical areas in the Usaylan district, and reached the outskirts of the Bayhan district.

The sources pointed out that the battles reached the Al-Saadi Junction, linking Shabwa, Marib and Al-Bayda, as well as its control of the Al-Naqoub area, the Al-Hama junction, the Al-Dhuli junction, the Nuwaidiya area, the Al-Hujaira village, and Waheed bin Saban Al-Asfal, all of which are strategically important because they are located on heights and crossroads linking the three governorates.

The Giants forces had taken control of the areas of "Al-Twal, Jaabour, and Bir Qaid", and imposed a fiery control over "Balboum and Al-Ukhaider", and the battles were transferred to the outskirts of the upper Bayhan district, amid the collapse and flight of the Houthis towards Bayhan and the obstacle of Al-Qundah on the outskirts of Al-Bayda governorate.

According to military and field sources, the recent operations of the Giants, as well as the raids of the coalition fighters on the road linking Bayhan, Shabwa and Harib, Marib, and the battles reached Aqabat Khoura, which separates the Upper Baihan Directorate in Shabwa, and the Suma’a Directorate in Al-Bayda, the Giants forces have achieved the first goal of their operations  In western Ma’rib, the three districts that were handed over to it by the former Brotherhood authority in Shabwa are restored, as well as cutting off the Houthi supply routes towards the Shabwa fronts and southern Marib.

While the forces continued to advance towards the Bayhan district through two axes, after securing the upper and lower Markhah districts, and the areas between Ataq, the capital of Shabwa, and the districts of Bayhan, the Houthi supply routes were cut off towards the fronts south of Marib, which were affected and fell as a result of the betrayal of the Brotherhood in western Shabwa last September.

The sources confirmed the collapse of the Houthi fronts in southern Marib, and enabled the forces and tribes participating in the defense operations of the city of Marib a year ago, to regain more than 10 sites on the al-Juba front, which extends between al-Balaq and Mala'a.

Field sources in Marib confirmed the collapse of the Houthi fronts on the eastern al-Balaq fronts and the sandy axis extending between al-Balaq and Um Reesh camp, where 10 sites were seized, including "Lazah, al-Ayraf, and al-Ghariqat", which are the first fruits of the giants' operations in western Shabwa.

According to the sources, the forces and tribes in Marib began offensive operations for the first time in a year of defense, to restore the positions that fell in the south of the governorate as an inevitable result of the betrayal of Shabwa by the Brotherhood, and during the past hours launched an attack across two axes to restore Juba.

It explained that the battles are approaching the Umm Reesh camp and the Mala’a area between Al-Juba and Harib, which is less than 4 km away from the center of the Al-Juba district, pointing to the collapse of the Houthis on the impact of the strikes of the army, tribes, and coalition fighters south of Marib, and the giants in Usaylan and Bayhan Shabwa forces between the two sides pliers.

The sources confirmed that government forces backed by tribes were pushed towards the northwestern fronts of Ma'rib towards "Al-Alam, Al-Jafdafer and Al-Nudood" between Marib and Al-Jawf, to start offensive operations in those areas.

In Al-Jawf, the influence of the giants’ forces reached the governorate’s fronts adjacent to the Safer oil fields from the eastern side, where the army and tribes forces managed to restore the “Taybet Al-Asma” camp on the Al-Ajasher front in the northern axis of Al-Jawf, a few hours after it fell into the hands of the militias.

On the other hand, the joint and southern forces on the Thara front in the Mukairas district between Al-Bayda and Abyan, thwarted a Houthi attempt to advance and posed a threat to the supply route of the Giants Brigades coming from the western coast through Aden and Abyan towards Shabwa, where Houthi movements were crushed in the locations of "Al-Alb and Aden", despite that they used drones and the operation failed.

Observers of the operational affairs in Shabwa believe that the giants succeeded in breaking the first defensive lines of the Houthi militias on the fronts around al-Bayda, and the governorate, which is in the middle of eight Yemeni governorates, including the capital, Sanaa, is ready for liberation from several fronts imposed by the giants and the joint forces, noting that the repositioning process on the western coast, it marked a qualitative breakthrough, and a new beginning for the liberation of Yemen, seven years after the failure of the phantom forces that controlled the military scene in northern Yemen.
