Aden, NewsYemen:

On Thursday night, the Arab coalition reported that it had received a distress call from an oil tanker after it was subjected to armed harassment off the port of Hodeidah, which is under the control of the Houthi militia, the Iranian arm in Yemen.

The coalition added, in a brief statement published by the official Saudi Press Agency "SPA": "There are high-risk indicators on the region and the sea corridor opposite the port of Hodeidah."

On Wednesday, the Arab coalition said that it had monitored and documented "the process of preparing the Houthi militia for a hostile action with a booby-trapped boat from the Salif port", north of the city of Hodeidah.

The coalition added, "The planning and execution of the piracy of the maritime transport ship (Rawabi) started from the port of Hodeidah."

The coalition considered that "the port of Hodeidah is a major center for receiving and assembling Iranian ballistic missiles."  He also stressed that "Hodeidah and Saleef are major centers of hostilities and the threat to maritime security."
