Sana'a, NewsYemen, Jalal Muhammad:

“Fighting for Food.” Under this fallen title, humanly and morally, Abdul Rahman’s spirit vanished in the Houthi incinerators, only to be killed in the Battle of Al-Balaq Al-Sharqi in the Ma’rib Governorate.

The terrorist Houthi militia, backed by Iran, tempts young people and children to plunge them into the incinerators of its fronts, after they refused to participate, with food and money, after it imposed a difficult living situation on millions of Yemenis in the areas it controlled and cut their salaries for years.

In a voice moaning in the pain of the universe, the father of the young Abdul Rahman, who was killed on the Houthi fronts in Marib, says, "Sadiq Qassem, - who hid his identity with this nickname for fear of Houthi abuse of his family - in his fourth decade of life, he left me and left me alone."

Abdul Rahman is the first joy of Sadiq, who works in one of the government departments in the capital, Sana'a, and his eldest son among four daughters and a younger brother at the age of eight.

Abdul Rahman was distinguished by his academic intelligence and the first arrangement he obtained in his first university year, which was not inclined to violence at all, to ravage the living situation on the outskirts of the second academic year, after his father was unable to pay the rent of his house, and he got into problems with the property owner in light of the interruption of salaries.  , to take care of young men whose mission is to recruit in favor of Al-Houthi, so that his family noticed that he was a lot of sarcasm and introverted, only to be surprised that he went to a cultural course in the month of Rabi’ Al-Awwal for a month and returned.

The Houthi group deceived Abd al-Rahman after they handed him a monthly food basket and promised him a monthly salary of 70,000 riyals, in exchange for him to work with them as a (cultural) because he has a tact in speaking, as described by his father.

Sadiq indicated that he advised his son Abdul Rahman, and said God knows that I advised him, prevented him, and asked him to take care of his studies only, and that I will manage the affairs of the house and its expenses, and I will sell a piece of land I own, buy a modest house and marry him at the end of his studies for the second level university, and here tears fell  The bereaved father in his son, and in a voice that was overcome by a tone of crying and a sigh of sadness, saying: "God have mercy on you, O Abdul Rahman, you broke me, and you are my support, and you killed my joy and my desire for life."

On Sunday, November 28, Abdul Rahman left Sana'a, heading to Ma'rib, without his father's knowledge, as he had told him that he was going to Ibb Governorate on a trip with a group of his friends.

Wednesday, December 15, 2021, Sadiq's family was shocked by a phone call from the neighborhood supervisor, that his son had been killed and his body was in the hospital.

Abdul Rahman, like hundreds of young men, has gone to the crematoria of death as fuel for an absurd battle in which they have no elegance or camel.

Statistics issued by Ma'rib show that more than 22,000 deaths have been incurred by the Houthi group during the past five months, while the group admitted the killing of 14,700 of its fighters during the battles in the oil and gas-rich Marib Governorate, the last stronghold of the Yemeni government.
