Aden, NewsYemen, special:

The statement of the Arab coalition spokesman about the non-participation of the forces of the First Military District sparked widespread controversy.

Southerners saw that the non-participation of the large forces loyal to the Brotherhood is a betrayal of the fateful battle that began inside the northern lands, because all the members of these forces belong to the northern regions.

Large forces, numbering more than forty thousand, are present in the Hadramawt Valley and have not participated in the battles with since the start of the coup.

In response to a question by journalist Salah al-Aqil, Turki al-Maliki said that the forces do not belong to the coalition, and the decision to participate is in the hands of the Yemeni Ministry of Defense.

This statement sparked a southern wave of anger, and came in conjunction with the increasing demands from the Hadrami street for the departure of this force.

The people of Hadhramaut accuse the forces of the first region of looting oil and protecting its smugglers, and that they have become a safe haven for extremist groups, and that they have failed to secure the area, demanding that the areas be handed over to the elite forces of the people of the valley.

Politician Hussein bin Laqour says about the Al-Ahmar forces, “The first military forces, their soldiers, are either with the Houthis or against him. If they are with the Houthis, their expulsion is a necessity dictated by the war with the Houthis. They cannot be left as a fifth column working for him. If they are against him, they cannot return to their families. This is a reason  It is enough to transfer them to fight Al-Houthi and return to the families, and they are soldiers who receive salaries for their work.”

In the opinion of political activist Waddah bin Attia, al-Maliki's statement is an announcement by the coalition about the rebellion of this force and lifting the cover from the first region and making it clear that they are motivated.

The President of Umm Al Quwain University, Dr. Jalal Hatem, tweeted: The forces of the First Military District are not interested in the war against the Houthis!!!  So she is concerned with what??  Otherwise it could be a traffic police??!

And Hatem continued, "Ok, and the Presidential Protection Force (3,500 people) is in the depository... what is their job? Noting, "By the way, all these forces follow the criminal Ali Mohsen al-Ahmar."

He concluded by saying, "We are tired of lying !!".

Political activist Adel Haitham Al-Yafei confirmed that he did not understand the statement of Turki Al-Maliki, the official spokesman for the Arab coalition forces about the Hadramawt Valley forces.

Al-Yafei asked, what does it mean that the forces of the First Military District are not under the leadership of the Arab coalition, but are affiliated with the Yemeni Ministry of Defense?

He continued, and the Yemeni Ministry of Defense and Al-Maqdashi will follow whom if his army is not interested in defending Yemen.  Who is defending?

Al-Yafei called on the Transitional Council to provide a logical explanation for the coalition about these forces and their non-participation in the war.
