Aden, NewsYemen:

The United Nations Special Envoy to Yemen, Hans Grundberg, said on Wednesday that the Houthi militia's hijacking of the "Rawabi" ship is a matter of concern.

The ship is carrying all the field equipment for operating the Saudi field hospital in Socotra, including ambulances and other medical equipment.

In a briefing to the UN Security Council session on Yemen, the UN envoy noted that the Houthi militia is determined to continue the attack on Marib.

Grundberg stressed that the military escalation in Yemen is increasing, and this will not end the crisis, and he expressed concern about the Houthi militia's use of the Hodeidah port for military purposes.

The UN envoy to Yemen noted his intention to intensify consultations between the Yemeni parties during the coming period to reach a political solution to the crisis.
