Nasserists in Taiz demand the dismissal of security and military leaders and the accountability of the corrupt without exception

Adel Al-Uqaibi, Secretary of the Nasserist Unionist Popular Organization in Taiz Governorate, central Yemen, demanded the dismissal of military and security leaders involved in corruption and human rights violations and who are not affiliated with the military establishment.

In his speech on the occasion of the 15th anniversary of the martyrdom of Iraqi President Saddam Hussein, Al-Uqaibi affirmed the support and support of the Nasserite organization for the local authority headed by Governor Nabil Shamsan, in the face of everything that hinders its performance of its role and stands in front of its control over the governorate's resources.

Al-Uqaibi reiterated the organization's demands to rebuild the army and security institutions in the governorate according to national and professional foundations and standards, and to abolish militia components and brigades that operate outside the framework of the military institution.

Al-Uqaibi stressed the speedy evacuation of private and public facilities from homes, schools, institutes, and government facilities from military groups, repositioning brigades outside population centers, ending job duplication within the state’s civil and military institutions, and adopting a unified fingerprint system for the civil and military administrative apparatus.

Adel Al-Uqaibi called for a comprehensive correction and change in accordance with the standards of efficiency and the rules of good governance, provided that this is accompanied by the development of a matrix of treatments within the framework of each office and utilities, and the need to adopt and activate the standards of the public job and the right to promotion in the career ladder for every citizen away from partisan and regional quotas.

Al-Uqaibi also called for the criminalization of the interference of the army, security and some armed groups in civil affairs, the collection and collection of financial resources by illegal means by force of arms, their looting of lands and the assault on the property of citizens’ rights in the governorate, and the arrest and trial of wanted persons.

Adel Al-Uqaibi called for the need to restore public sector institutions, foremost of which are the electricity and water institutions, stressing in this regard the dismissal of those involved in corruption and referring them to the Public Funds Prosecution, the invalidation of the Electricity Corporation's contracts with private companies, the restoration of all looted public electric generators, and their operation by the administration  Efficient and fair.

He concluded his speech by emphasizing the rejection of the leadership and members of the Nasserite People's Unionist Organization for corruption and spoilers, and stressed the need to refer all those involved in the practice of corruption from the leaders of the local authority and executive offices to the Public Funds Prosecution for trial.
