STC spokesman: We are continuing to defeat Al-Houthi.. Operation Southern Cyclone has achieved its goals

Ali Abdullah Al Kathiri, a member of the Presidency of the Southern Transitional Council, and the official spokesman for the Council, confirmed that they will continue to fight the Houthi militias until their project targeting the entire region is defeated.

Al Kathiri said, during a panel discussion entitled "Houthi Militia.. Cross-Border Terrorism" to Al-Ain News: "We work side by side with the Arab coalition forces, and we will continue to fight the Houthi militias until their project is defeated."

He added: "There are forces that are trying to falsify what is happening on the battlefield and are trying to attribute it to some of the parties that were the reason for the Houthis' control."

He pointed out that "the Houthi militia has proven its fragility during the past days, and that it is just a "balloon", and we exposed its falsehood and defeated it quickly and effectively."

 He pointed out that "the Houthi militia's possession of cross-border weapons as a result of clear Iranian support, which was revealed by many facts."

He explained that "the international community is still lax in classifying the Houthi militia as a terrorist group, and issuing condemnations is no longer enough."

He added, "We hope that the Houthi militia will be included in the terrorist lists as soon as possible, and that the Security Council only condemns it is not enough and must be classified as terrorist."

 He indicated that "the US administration is considering classifying the militia as a terrorist, because its danger threatens world peace in general."

He stressed that "the coming will be painful for the Houthi militia if it continues in its persecution and its space will be reduced."

He added, "We call on our brothers in Yemen to activate the resistance in the places occupied by this group, and to reach a comprehensive settlement."

He stressed that "Cyclone of the South Operation in the face of the Houthi militia has fully achieved its goals," explaining that "the Houthi militia represents a threat to Arab national security."
