Aden, NewsYemen:

Advisor to the Minister of Information, Fahd Talib Al-Sharafi, praised the effective role of the southern forces in making political and military change, stressing that the south is an authentic pillar and strategic ally of the Arab project, and a spearhead in the battle against Iran's tools.

Al-Sharafi said, in a post on Facebook, that the south, with all its authentic Arab struggle forces, is the mainstay of the Arab project at this dangerous stage, and the strategic ally of the Arab brothers of Saudi Arabia and the UAE.

He pointed out that the south today is the spearhead in our decisive battle with Iran's project, explaining that the joint Houthi aggression is a danger that threatens everyone.

Al-Sharafi added, “The option of confronting Iran’s Houthi project in the Arabian Peninsula has become a common option for all and there is no irreversibility, just as the option of respecting the right of the brothers of the people of the south to determine their future by understanding after getting rid of the Iranian threat has become a common option for us and our brothers.”

He said that his position towards the south is clear from the beginning and in light of the loss of the whole north under the control of the Houthis, and with its cause and the right of its people to decide their future, and we reject all forms of war on the south in the name of unity.

Al-Sharafi continued, that opponents of the south and the transitional were hoping that the president of the Southern Transitional Council would refuse to engage in the Riyadh consultations, to become a rebellious party in the eyes of Yemenis, brothers and the world.

He explained that the head of the Southern Transitional Council, Aidarous al-Zubaidi, was wiser, won the deal, and was part of the southern issue, and his men were ready to engage in the battle with a high and professional political sense.

Al-Sharafi concluded that the south of today is not the south of yesterday, as it has contributed to making change and has become an ally of the region, and no one will be able to exceed the desire of the great people of the south.
