The Iranian-backed terrorist militia continued to violate the UN truce, which is implemented unilaterally by the government and the Arab coalition behind it, while the militias have not adhered to any of the terms of the truce since its entry into force on the second of last April.

Despite the continuation of international efforts to maintain the truce and work to extend it, and then move to another stage of peace-building measures in Yemen, represented by the efforts of the UN envoy to Yemen Hans Grundberg, US envoy Tim Tim Lenderking, and the British, Swedish and Omani moves accompanying those efforts, the militias  It deals with the armistice as an international grant to its elements in order to achieve the greatest field, economic and diplomatic benefits.

And on Saturday, the G7 called on all Yemeni parties to engage in constructive talks under the leadership of the United Nations, to turn the truce into a permanent ceasefire and eventually reach a lasting peace.

According to the statement of the Big Seven issued by the ministers of the seven major countries at the conclusion of a three-day meeting in Wangles, northern Germany, it is necessary to move the estimated two-month truce towards establishing confidence-building measures associated with it, including the reopening of Sana’a airport, and the opening of roads in Taiz and others  From the governorates to alleviate the suffering of civilians, and an investigation into violations of the armistice was opened.

For his part, the US envoy, Tim Lenderking, praised the Yemeni government's stances, which are keen to maintain the truce, and the concessions it made to make flights from Sanaa airport successful with Houthi passports, and stressed the need to take urgent measures to open the crossings to the city of Taiz.

For his part, the European Union Ambassador to Yemen, Gabriel Monera Viñales, reiterated the Union's support for efforts to bring peace to Yemen, as there is an opportunity to achieve this, pointing to the Union's readiness to contribute to its success.

All those successive international positions that were announced during the past few hours did not prevent the Houthis from continuing to violate them on all fronts, with their continued intransigence and refusal to open crossings and roads in Taiz, in implementation of the terms of the armistice that the militias benefited from in three of its clauses: “stopping fighting and raids, and entering  Oil ships to the port of Hodeidah, and soon Sanaa airport will open according to their terms.”  And it refuses to implement the last of those clauses related to the opening of crossings and roads.

The Army Media Center stated that 165 Houthi violations of the truce were recorded in two days, on various fighting fronts, in light of the government forces' commitment to a comprehensive ceasefire in implementation of the directives of the political and military leadership.

The militias had escalated on the fronts of Taiz during the past two days, as they bombed the village of Al-Sila in the west of the city, which led to the death of a child and the injury of his father and mother, which prompted the government to condemn the incident and demand the United Nations and the international community to pressure the militias to stop their escalation against civilians in Taiz.

In Marib, militias bombed army positions in the Raghwan front, northwest of the province, which led to the death of a soldier and the injury of another, according to a field source, noting that the militias are massing to the various Marib fronts with the aim of launching an expected attack towards the city, the center of the province, and the oil and gas sources in Safer.
