Aden, NewsYemen:

The leader of the Southern Transitional Council, Salem Thabet Al-Awlaki, advised the northern forces that they should think about the future of their people, who are suffering under the weight of Al-Houthi, and avoid provoking the south and its cause.

Al-Awlaki said, in a tweet to him on Twitter, that believing in the possibility of the return of Yemeni unity will only lead to higher walls of grudges and hatred between the south and the north.

Al-Awlaki published a picture during the celebration in the capital, Aden, of the 28th anniversary of the announcement of the disengagement, and gave sincere advice to the northern forces, asking them to think about their future and their people, who are suffering under the weight of the Houthi supervisor.

He pointed out that the south, whose liberation cost was blood and sorrow in every southern house, will not accept the provocation, ambitions or influence of any party, and its decision and destiny are in the hands of its people.

He stressed, in a second tweet, that only living peoples can turn defeat into a victory, adding that the people of the south, since the northern forces invaded their land in the summer of 1994 AD, have made their homes and councils national schools that preserved the south and its identity in the hearts of children and grandchildren to lead its cause and carry its flag, and this is what we see today.  Along the south from Mahra to Bab al-Mandab.
