Member of the Presidential Leadership Council - President of the Southern Transitional Council, Aidarous Al-Zubaidi, stressed the mobilization of everyone's efforts, and directing them towards the "common enemy represented by the terrorist Houthi militia, and the dynastic sectarian project that it bears."
This came while he chaired today (Wednesday) a meeting of the leadership of the Ministry of Defense and the leaders of brigades, units and military bodies in the ministry.
During the meeting, which was attended by the Minister of Defense, Lieutenant General Muhammad Ali Al-Maqdashi, Al-Zubaidi listened to a full explanation of the situation on the various fronts of the confrontation with the Houthi militia, in light of its continuous violations of the UN armistice, in addition to the ministry's plans and programs during the coming period.
He stressed the need to adhere to the utmost restraint in respect of the UN armistice, while raising the level of operational coordination between the various brigades, units and military axes to deal firmly with Houthi violations and curb their aggressive behavior.
He affirmed the Presidential Command Council's interest in all military units and brigades, and its keenness to meet their needs and requirements of their members, and to provide them with logistical support, in a way that would enable them to perform their national role with efficiency and competence, praising in the context the active contribution of the Arab coalition countries led by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates. And their continuous support for the various fronts and combat axes and to secure their needs.
The member of the Presidential Leadership Council pointed out that the current stage is important and sensitive and requires mobilizing everyone's efforts and directing them towards the common enemy represented by the terrorist Houthi militia and the dynastic sectarian project it bears, doubling work, and continuous coordination with the Ministry of Interior and the security services in its various formations to implement tasks of common jurisdiction and in chief among them is the task of combating terrorist organizations and cross-border smuggling.
