Hodeidah, NewsYemen, private:

Today, Sunday, Yemenis commemorated the first anniversary of the victims of the mass execution carried out by the Houthi militia, the arm of Iran, against 9 of the sons of Tihama in Tahrir Square in Sana'a.

On the morning of September 18, 2021, Yemenis woke up to the tragedy of the execution of the 9 victims, including a minor, on charges of communicating and planning to kill Saleh al-Samad, despite all the demands to stop the arbitrary executions.

The victims' lawyer accused the Houthi militia of holding a mock trial, which he considered a farce to pass the death sentences.

Lawyer Abdul Majeed Sabra wrote on the eve of the first anniversary of the massacre: “Such a night last year was a night of unspeakable horror and terror for the victims and their relatives. They did not believe that the tweet of Muhammad Ali al-Houthi, head of the justice system on Twitter, would be implemented literally, and that this tweet was an enforceable order, no bargaining is accepted."

He added, in a post on Facebook, that this memory "will be very, very difficult for the relatives of the victims as they relive this painful memory, especially the moments of the last contacts with their relatives and their farewell to them and the horrific moments of the execution in Tahrir Square. They will re-read their wills."

The journalist Ali Al-Faqih said that the blood of the victims is still fresh, and the smell of crime fills the parts.

He confirmed that the Houthi militia carried out the group's massacre against the 9 civilians of Tihama in Tahrir Square in Sana'a, after they were accused of communicating and planning to kill the leader of the group, Saleh Al-Samad.

And he said, the eyes of the paralyzed minor boy who carried him to the execution grounds are still trying the world and exposing its falsehood and hypocrisy every day.

He added that the looks of the heroes while they were on the scene of execution whipped all the faint-hearted who had prolonged the life of the militia of death and destruction.

Journalist Ismail Al-Qadi wrote: "At eight o'clock, the jailer and the front executioner were stripped away in Sana'a on the date of this day, to slaughter the Tuhamians, who have no sin except to satisfy the killing and tyranny instinct that the Imam practiced against the people in the past."

He added, "The new Imamate has returned to strike and slaughter the Tihami with every flagrant offense under the eyes of the world."

The memory of the liberation massacre comes at a time when the militia of Iran's arm is launching a military campaign against the people of Tihama in the Al-Qusra area in Al-Hodeidah.

Al-Houthi militia arrested more than 100 people from Al-Qasra residents, shot civilians, confiscated their lands and destroyed their waterways, under the pretext of endowment lands.
