Marib, NewsYemen, Private:

Marib is no longer safe with the increase in assassinations against military leaders in the government forces, or in light of the continuing attacks launched by the Houthi militia on the densely populated city and the displaced.

In successive hours, Marib was the focus of the world’s attention, with the bad news coming from it, a Houthi attack, on Monday evening, targeting a weapons depot at the headquarters of the Third Military Region, from which rockets flew to the nearby IDP camps, killing and wounding 24 displaced people, according to a new toll issued by the Executive Unit  To manage IDP camps.

This was followed by the killing of Brigadier General Muhammad Al-Jaradi, advisor to the Minister of Defense, in a mysterious incident, in the fourth crime of its kind.

In the face of this situation, which shows that Marib is not well, calls are mounting here and there, that the time has come to appoint a new governor, instead of Major General Sultan al-Arada, a member of the Presidential Council, according to observers, who returned such a request, to the failure of al-Arada to restore 12 districts that fell under his rule In the hands of the Houthi militia.

Marib, under the leadership of Major General Al-Arada, has also become a "Trojan horse for the Brotherhood and terrorist groups to loot public money and assassinate their opponents," observers say.

The observers issued urgent calls for the rescue of Marib, so that it would not fall from within due to what they call "the chaos of the project controlled by small minds."

They said that talking about Ma'rib is painful in all respects, for it has not been able to become a safe city that the state controls all its joints, nor has it remained a visible entity that preserves itself and protects its people with the pride of the Bedouins.
