Aden, NewsYemen:

A prisoner and an abductee died, as a result of brutal torture, in the prisons of the Houthi militia - the Iranian arm in Yemen - in the governorates of Dhamar and Al-Bayda (center of the country).

A human rights source said that the Houthi militia informed, the day before yesterday, the family of the prisoner, "Hadi Hussein Al-Saw'i Al-Shni", to receive his body after his death in one of its prisons in Dhamar Governorate.

He added that the captive, "Hadi al-Shinni", is a member of the government forces from the village of al-Jubba, Isolate Wasit, in the Noman district of al-Bayda governorate, and was captured by the Houthi militia a year and three months ago.

The source explained that Al-Shani was subjected to several forms of torture by the Houthi militia, which led to his death, indicating that his body was delivered to Al-Dafia Hospital in the Beihan district, west of Shabwa Governorate.

In the context, a citizen named Mansur Hussein Al-Rasas died in a prison of the Houthi militia in Al-Bayda Governorate.

The Houthi militia had kidnapped the lead, while he was returning from Saudi Arabia, to spend the last Eid al-Adha holiday with his family.

The source stated that "Mansir Hussain Al-Rasas" is from the district of Masora in Al-Bayda Governorate, and he was an expatriate in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and was kidnapped upon his return to spend his vacation last Eid Al-Adha.

He pointed out that the Houthi militia had promised his brothers to release him on Thursday, and when they came to his place of arrest, they were surprised to be informed of his death.

And on Saturday, the journalist and human rights monitor, Mujahid Al-Qob, revealed the death of a 30-year-old man, under torture in a prison of the Houthi militia, in Al-Hodeidah Governorate (west of the country).

Al-Qabb said, on his Facebook account, that citizen Muhammad Hassan Maarouf (32 years old) was killed under torture in a Houthi prison in the At-Tuhaita district, south of Hodeidah.

He explained that the Houthi militia detained Maarouf in the prison of the police station of the Tuhaita district, and practiced various forms of brutal torture against him, which led to his death.

Al-Qab added that five Houthi gunmen took turns torturing the victim, using brutal methods of torture, including "crucifixion, pulling out nails, and simulated shooting in the head, as well as hitting him with iron blows."
