Aden, NewsYemen, exclusive:

Yemenis said that the solution is decided by the people, and any peace processes that ignore the involvement of the main parties in the south and north, especially the southern forces and entities that have proven to be broken by Houthi terrorism, and the northern rejectionist forces that deprived Houthi of the capacity to represent the people, will lead to war and new conflicts, demanding a just peace that does not obey  And he does not hand over the country to a militia, through the hashtag # The solution_in_Yemen_decided_by_the_people.

This came from the first words of the Charter of the United Nations, "to save succeeding generations from the scourge of war", after the failure of all its envoys to achieve peace until this moment..

The charters, treaties and laws of the international community affirm that peace-building is achieved in a cooperative manner, at the local, national, regional and international levels.  Individuals and communities play a role in building peace.  To sustain positive change, every person affected by violent conflict must participate in the peacebuilding process.

Positive peace or military decisiveness

Yemenis demanded a positive peace or a military resolution of the war in Yemen, activating the fronts and overthrowing the militias, recalling that the southern armed forces have proven that they are the safe and sincere ally of the coalition and have defeated the terrorism of Iran's arm in several areas, including areas in Al-Hodeidah Governorate, and breaking the Houthi force in Shabwa and others.

While the concept of positive peace is comprehensive, it means more than just the absence of violence, violations and chronic truces, when everyone lives in safety, without fear or threat of violence, and the law or practice does not allow any form of violence.  Everyone is equal before the law, justice systems are reliable, and fair and effective laws protect people's rights.  Everyone is able to participate in the formulation of political decisions and the government is accountable to the people.

Everyone has fair and equal access to the basic needs that guarantee their well-being – such as food, clean water, shelter, education, health care and a decent living environment.  Everyone has equal opportunities to work and earn a living, regardless of gender, race or any other aspect of identity.

Fake truces

All of this and more did not mention any trace of the past peace negotiations and the three truces that the Houthis continued to violate, targeting civilians and intransigence in opening the roads, the main cause of the death of dozens, unlike the disabilities that topped the reports of victims of Houthi shells and mines, which will become a humanitarian catastrophe over the coming years.

The witness from the reality of the war in Yemen is that the international community manages the conflict in Yemen by virtue of its falling under Chapter VII, but the international community has not made any solutions or reforms.  Except for the establishment of agreements and truces under the name of the concept of peace to reduce bloodshed, despite all the violations committed by Iran's arm against civilians.

Political opinions

The human rights activist, Zaid bin Nafie, believed that any international patchwork solutions, regardless of the value agreed upon, if the influential parties in Yemen are not present, then they are failed solutions and establish new conflicts.

For his part, journalist Yasser Al-Yafei appreciated the peace efforts and said: "Everyone wants peace, as people are tired of wars and conflicts, but we are with a just peace, not handing over the country and people to a racist group. In short, a peace that ignores the main parties in the south and north establishes a new war."

Al-Yafei recalled the victories of the southern armed forces against the Houthi militia, which is still victorious over terrorism, indicating that it has the say in any upcoming peace, and any disregard for it means ignoring the cause of an entire people and establishing a new phase of wars and conflicts.

He added, "In the north, too, there are armed forces and a broad elite that refuses to surrender to the Houthis, and they are ready to stand firm in the face of the Houthis. It is illogical to ignore these forces, entities, and institutions, and any disregard for them means the loss of the north forever in the hands of an Iranian gang."
