Tariq Saleh in Taiz.. Courage to overcome the past to protect the future

The head of the media department of the Yemeni Islah Party in Taiz Governorate, Ahmed Othman, affirmed the ability of Taiz Governorate to change the military equation and impose a new reality, provided that its components and political spectrum unite.

 Referring to its need for a national project, he said that it now exists, and for a "unified leadership that moves with the values of the state and the authority of legitimacy," considering the Presidential Council, "under the leadership of His Excellency President Rashad al-Alimi, is the responsible leadership that can achieve if they realize who they are and where they are today?"

The speech of the Yemeni politician, Othman, came in the wake of the visit of a member of the Presidential Leadership Council, head of the Political Bureau of the National Resistance, Brigadier General Tariq Muhammad Abdullah Saleh, to the city of Taiz, and the impact of the visit among the local and social communities.

 Commenting on this, Ahmed Othman, a politician in the Islah party, said on Twitter that Brigadier General Tariq visited Taiz "with the title of uniting the Republican ranks and restoring the looted country and the displaced homeland." 

He added, "I have read Tariq Saleh's speech since he came to the coast, and I find it specific and non-contradictory," explaining in this context: "What we care about is shaping the present to create the future, and this requires courage to go beyond the past."

While the Houthi militia intensified its efforts to entrap the parties of the legitimacy camp in Taiz governorate, by publishing media content that stirs hatred and grudges, most of the activists of the legitimacy camp agree that their differences between them remain legitimate political and administrative disputes, which end with the conclusion of interfaith agreements and appeal to the electorate, noting - in return -  Al-Houthi's desire to eradicate everyone "intellect, culture, history and civilization", which requires them to unify ranks and move towards complete liberation.
