The press and sports circles mourn the journalist Aidaroos Abdulrahman

 The press, media and sports community mourned the great journalist Aidarous Abdulrahman Al-Wali, who passed away  today, in Al-Wali Hospital in the capital, Aden, after suffering from illness.

 The funeral of the deceased took place to his final resting place in the Al-Qatee cemetery in the city of Crater in the capital, Aden, in a funeral procession in which hundreds of friends, students, and lovers of the deceased participated.

 The press circles described the deceased as the king of press headlines and a teacher of sports journalism, with a rich history in the field of sports media.

The Southern Journalists and Media Syndicate said in its obituary statement that the deceased was one of the free and honest writers who traveled and spread their fame locally, regionally and in the Arab world.  And he left great imprints that will remain a legacy for successive generations to learn from him the professionalism and craftsmanship of writing that adorned official and private newspapers and magazines, foremost among them the newspapers: October 14, Al-Ayyam, Al-Amina, Al-Tajammu’, Al-Tariq, and Al-Riyadi.

 It emphasized that the late was not a sports journalist.  Rather, he was a journalist who excelled in the political and social article and the distinguished journalistic column, adding that the press family in the south and Yemen lost with the departure of Aidarous Abdulrahman, one of the knights of the free word and the honest firefly, and his memory will remain stuck in the minds, generation after generation and era after era, inspiring those who come to the fields of journalism.

The Yemeni Sports Media Association also mourned the deceased, and considered his departure a heavy and painful loss for the sports media in our country.

 A number of journalists, media professionals and athletes also expressed their grief for this great loss, reviewing their memories with the deceased and his remarkable presence and the fingerprints he placed in the court of Her Majesty.
