The heinous crime was documented by surveillance cameras in the street, which showed that armed security forces assaulted a worker at a power station, Hussein Fouad Al-Dhaheri, after they raided his workplace at the Al-Barti power station. The brutal attack on "Al-Dhaheri" revealed the truth about the terrorism and humiliation that citizens are subjected to in the city of Taiz at the hands of Brotherhood elements that hide behind official security clothes.
According to the information, the director of the Al-Ashbat police station, Majid Al-Mariri, accompanied by the commander, Awwad Ali Hazaa, and five other armed men, went down to the site of the private Al-Barti power generation station, without any summons to the police station or an order from the Public Prosecution, and proceeded to brutally assault the worker and dragged him to the public street. , before his armed escorts severely beat him on his body and head until he fell unconscious due to the serious injuries he sustained.
The father of the victim, Fouad Al-Dhaheri, posted on his account a commentary on what happened to his son at the hands of the head of the Al-Ashbat police station and his escorts, pointing out that "his head was smashed with the state's weapon and he was kicked while he was unconscious, dragged and brutally arrested. Everything is clear in the video, and this, if it indicates something, it indicates Taking into account the reasons for the defeat," according to his description.
He added: "What is hidden is greater, the use of the position to collect and blackmail people, how were they appointed when they have cases of killing and looting. They are without the state's weapon anything."

Activist Osama Al-Arifi: "What the director of the Al-Ashbat department, Majid Al-Mariri, and his members did to beat the guard of a peaceful and unarmed power station does not represent statesmen," explaining that "if he was a murderer, he would not be dealt with as the director of the department did with Al-Dhaheri."

Journalist Faisal Al-Dhubhani, commenting on the attack by those representing the state and security, said: "Taiz has really turned into a forest, and what the director of the Ashbat department and his entourage did reveals this fact."
Faisal added, "How can the director of a department represent the law, the state, and the protector of the Yemeni constitution, who recognized the protection of the rights of civilians, even if they are accused in cases and crimes?

In turn, the activist Adel Al-Barti described what happened as security thuggery in Al-Kawthar neighborhood in Taiz and next to the place where the resistance fighter Walid Al-Ragheef was assassinated one day by the thugs of the terrorist militia climbing on the necks of those who sacrificed their lives in order to liberate Taiz.

He pointed out that what happened was not an arrest process as some want to portray it, but rather kidnapping and torture in broad daylight and with the state’s weapons and under the name of the state, causing severe wounds and injuries to the skull of the helpless victim called Hussein Al-Taheri that required nearly twenty stitches to stop the bleeding, not to mention The grinding and humiliation that befell his burdened body, which no one can bear, while there and in the vicinity of the leaders of the Brotherhood’s evil brigades, there are many criminals and murderers who are wanted by name and description, but I challenge the security of Sous Al-Akhla to address the appeal to them only, not to arrest them because they are under the protection of the masters and godfathers Brotherhood terrorism in Taiz.
Activist Adel Al-Barti said: The lists of criminals, murderers, and looters top the salary lists of the so-called National Army, and they are adorned with medals and ranks of chastity and brotherhood piety, while humanity grinds a person in Taiz every moment and around the clock every day, concluding his post by asking the security services in Taiz, where are the killers of Mithaq and Al-Hamidi?
