The Turkish government froze the property of three senior Houthi militia leaders in Yemen, according to UN Security Council resolutions, according to a decision published Thursday in the Turkish official gazette.

According to the document, all assets of Abdulkhaliq al-Houthi, Abdullah Yahya al-Hakim and Abdulmalik al-Houthi were frozen until 26 February 2020.

According to the document published in the Official Gazette and signed by Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, the decision was taken in line with a number of UN Security Council resolutions.

Ankara has frozen in recent years the assets of a number of people listed in the new resolution published on Thursday.
