The Brotherhood launched on Wednesday a campaign to raise funds for the militias under the pretext of supporting the steadfastness of the fronts in Taiz city.

Local sources told Newsyemen that cars and buses are roaming the streets, calling citizens to pay a War Effort to the Popular Crowd militias allegedly supporting the steadfastness of the fronts.

Sources shocked the fact of the Brotherhood and its continued to exploit the expatriates and merchants so as to impose their power on the province.

Sources disclosed to Newsyemen a leadership of the Brotherhood followed several mechanisms to collect money and deliver them to their own bank accounts, specifically during Ramadan.

The Brotherhood forms groups to collect donations, the first group allocates funds from commercial houses in Taiz, the second from traders, the third from expatriates, and the fourth from the "haves" people in the province.

According to the sources, the Brotherhood committees - operating in secret - can collect more than Y.R  two billion annually during the month of Ramadan, which go to their own bank accounts in local and foreign banks.

It is noteworthy that the National Army forces in Taiz province - the number of fifty thousand recruits - receive their salaries, nutrition, fuel and ammunition monthly from the Fourth Military Zone.

Taiz military Command Axis, which is controlled by the Brotherhood, the Islah Party, has already received Y.R 3 billion two months ago from the Yemeni government.

The axis claims to allocate the sum to support the steadfastness of the fronts while the Brotherhood justifies waste of billions allocated for liberation annually.
