Al-Ahmar fertilizes South-South fighting in Shabwa province

Armed clashes broke out Monday between forces of the Southern Resistance and forces of pro-Brotherhood in Markha district in Shabwa province, southeastern Shabwa province, Southern Yemen.

Forces of 21st brigade loyal to the General Ali Mohsen al-Ahmar, the vice president of Hadi, launched an attack on sites of the Southern Resistance. 

The attack followed the return of Maj. Gen. Jahdal Hanash in an undeclared visit to the Saudi Capital of Riyadh. Members of the 21st Brigade were injured, according to military sources.

A source at the Southern Resistance said the Forces raised their readiness status in anticipation of any armed operations attack or attacks launched by forces loyal to the "Brotherhood of Legitimacy.

The Southern Resistance in a statement, seen by Newsyemen ", called to put a stop to the bloodshed of Shabwa people and defuse sedition, accusing Ali Mohsen al-Ahmar, Hadi Vice President of planning a south-south fighting, warning at the same time it will respond strongly if the Southern forces are attacked again.
