Seven people, including three women and four children, were killed and more than 14 others were injured on Friday when a house fell on a wedding tent in the northwestern province of al-Mahweet.
A local source told NewsYemen that three women and four children were killed and about 15 others were injured after a house collapsed near a wedding tent in Bani Sa'ad district in al-Mahweet.
He made clear that heavy rains accompanied by heavy winds caused the collapsing of the house in al-Maenah village in the district.
According to the source, the rains and high winds uprooted trees and destroyed many old houses in the area, especially built of straw and mud bricks.
