صحيفة: وزير الدفاع يجنّد خمسة عشر ألفاً من أبين وشبوة في أسبوعين

قالت صحيفة أخبار اليوم إن وزير الدفاع اللواء محمد ناصر أحمد أقدم على تجنيد خمسة عشر ألفاً من المجندين الجدد من أبناء محافظتي أبين وشبوة خلال الأسبوعين المنصرمين وبالتزامن مع الحملة العسكرية الجارية منذ مطلع مايو في المحافظتين. وأفادت صحيفة لـ"أخبار اليوم" أن وزير الدفاع يقوم بالتجنيد تحت مسمى لجان شعبية لمحاربة الإرهاب حيث اقتصر التجنيد لنحو (15000) مجندٍ جديد من أبناء محافظتي أبين وشبوة ويتم إلحاقهم بذريعة المساندة الشعبية لما يُعرَف باللجان الشعبية وتحت غطاء محاربة الإرهاب. وقالت الصحيفة إن مراقبون استغربوا إقدام وزير الدفاع على تجنيد الآلاف من الشباب في الوقت الذي أكدت فيه تقارير صادرة عن صندوق النقد والبنك الدوليين ومجموعة أصدقاء اليمن والدول المانحة عن وجود نحو ثلاثمائة ألف عنصر وهمي في الجيش اليمني البالغ قوامه نحو أربعمائة وخمسين ألف عنصر (الفعليين منهم مائة وخمسون ألفاً فقط) ـ وفق تلك التقارير ـ.
