The Houthi militias, the arm of Iran in Yemen, stopped the studying at al-Thagr and al-Zubairi primary schools in al-Hodeida city.

The suspension of studying came amid calling teachers to participate in the Houthi cultural course, which will be lasted for a whole week.

"The Houthi education supervisor, known by Abu Nejad, ordered all teachers in al-Hodeida province to join to the cultural course," said an Education source at the Education Ministry office in al-Hodeida to Newsyemen.

The Houthi supervisor had arranged a timetable for school teachers which will be lasted for a week. The supervisor gave his orders for the so-called Omar Bahr, who was appointed by the militias as director of the Education Bureau, to issue orders for the Education offices in the districts in this regard.
