The Houthi militias rewarded on Wednesday a tribal sheikh who contributed largely to the fall of Hajoor area and the collapse of the two-month armed uprising.

Mohammed Saleh al-Za'akari sworn in before the so-called the chairman of the Houthi political council Mahdi al-Mashat as a member of the Shura Council, run by the Houthi militias.

Hajoor tribes blame Saleh al-Za'akari and accused him of helping the armed militias to cheat the tribal Uprising in Hajjah province.

Local sources affirmed that Mohammed Saleh al-Za'akari and his son Abdulaziz, appointed by the Houthis as security director of Kushar district, delivered the district's center for the armed militias on March 10th.

After the handing over, the armed militias then enabled to raid Hajoor tribes in Tallan mountain area in al-Abaisa, east of the district towards the center.

The sources added that the betrayal of Mohammed al-Za'akari contributed to the collapse of the western front of Hajoor, which led the armed militias committing crimes against the villagers in their areas.
