Houthi militias raise gas price in Maeen in Sana'a

The Houthi militias imposed new royalties on the people of the Capital Sana'a under the name of supporting Houthi fighters on the West Coast Front.

The royalties were imposed by the head of the neighborhoods so as to exploit the domestic gas. 

Civilians of the capital Sana'a said that the Houthi militias, through the head of the neighborhoods, imposed a sum of Y.R 500 on each house in Maeen district for supporting Houthi fighters on the West Coast Front.

The Houthi militias threatened those who did not pay to refer their names in a list to the Houthi supervisor in the district. 

Civilians said that they were surprised at the price of the gas cylinder rose from Y.R 3,200 to Y.R 3500.
