Mukalla experiences developmental achievements as 168 companies import cement, steel bars

The Industry Office in Mukalla city, Hadramout province announced on Saturday the registration of 168 companies in the real estate services.
It also announced that hundreds of names in the construction market of electricity, painting, decorations and others were also registered in 2017 and 2018.
Companies' capital range from 20 million to 500 million Yemeni riyals. According to the statistics report in Mukalla port, the construction market has imported last year 400,000 of cement, and 125,000 of steel bars.
Currently, Mukalla city experienced major constructions due to security stability and the return of expatriates because of procedures by the Saudi market on employment.
Mukalla and its coast have attracted about 6,100 displaced families from conflict areas in Yemen, as well as the ongoing rural migrations into cities.
The report, which included a video recording of various areas in Mukalla, says despite the revival of employment opportunities and the development, it contributed to speculation in the real estate, in addition to working on the structure of the already weak infrastructure services such as roads, electricity and others
