UAE Red Crescent delivers aid convoy for al-Hajar in Shabwa

The UAE Red Crescent Authority delivered on Tuesday a convoy of humanitarian and relief aid to al-Hajar area in Shabwa province, east of Yemen.
The Red Crescent teams distributed 500 food baskets to 500 poor and destitute families in the area.
The humanitarian and relief aid came after the area has been cleansed of al-Qaeda and extremist elements by the Security Belt Forces in a " White Mountains" military operation, backed by the Arab Coalition.
Hundreds of poor and destitute families live in remote al-Hajar area in Shabwa, which lacks of the most necessary services.
