Security Belt Forces completes cleansing terrorism in Abyan

The Security Belt Forces in Abyan province south of Yemen have completed cleansing the south of terrorist elements after Shabwa Elite Forces launched a military operation against the terrorism last March.
The "White Mountains" military operations that launched on April, 07 targeted terrorism in Markha area in Abyan, which was one of the largest hideouts of al Qaeda in the province.
The Security Center in Abyan said that the military operation led by the Brigadier General Abdullatif al-Sayyed and his deputy, Abdulrahman al-Shanini managed to control Hammarah valley in al-Mahfad.
The forces also found personal objects belonging to terrorist groups that fled and left their sites in the valley.
The commander of the Security Belt in Abyan province al-Sayyed said in an interview with Al-Arabiya channel that explosive devices and weapons were found at the house of the terrorist "Saleh Laqra", thanking the Arab Coalition in support of the Belt Forces in this regard.
